Dr Wang was selected for the final round of the 2018 ASME (America Society of Mechanical Engineers)

Dr Wang was selected for the final round of the 2018 ASME (America Society of Mechanical Engineers) Student Mechanism and Robot Design Competition. The competition took place at the ASME 2018 International Design Engineering Technical Conferences & Computers and Information in Engineering Conference (IDETC/CIE 2018) in Quebec City, Canada during 26-29 August 2018. The project is about the design of deployable mechanisms with multiple-mode constructed using symmetric spatial triads. She was provided 800USD travel fund from the competition organizer for her to participate in the competition in Canada. This was the third external travel grant that Jieyu received for attending international conferences during her PhD study.
